Limited Time and Brand Positioning

Despite its association with the thriving interior design studio and a customer base with a high disposable income, the retail brand struggled to establish its own distinct identity and gain support within the local community despite being located in the busy design studio. 

To overcome this challenge, the owner acquired a double storefront adjacent to the existing location and strategically decided to rebrand, consolidating both businesses under the Farmer’s Daughter umbrella. 

Rebranding efforts were required across both physical and digital assets. Recognising her limited retail experience and time constraints due to a busy design schedule, the owner sought external expertise.

Enhancing Brand Awareness and Engagement

Engaged to develop a roadmap and strategic action plan aligned with the business goals, our role involved providing guidance and support. Additionally, the website rebrand required my expertise to ensure a seamless transition and prevent established SEO value being reduced. Internal staff training and technical process were documented to ensure optimised efforts for organic search growth.

Through collaborative efforts, we successfully launched the rebranded physical and online stores, strategically timed to coincide with the bustling Festive Trading season.

The seamless integration of physical and digital initiatives and targeted marketing strategies resulted in significant achievements. With the newly redesigned website achieving after 12 months of indexing

  • An impressive 137% increase in online sessions across Canada and the US
  • 97% increase in organic search traffic
  • And a remarkable 170% year-on-year sales growth online.

The retail business continues to gain popularity, with monthly community events held in-store and online reach expanding across Canadian provinces and the US to supplement physical revenue.
